The food and atmosphere were great as usual. Our service did not meet expectations this time around. We sat for about 10 minutes without being greeted. It took even longer to get our drink order in. Our server was not friendly at all. Once we placed our order food rolled out quickly via food runners. They have live music at lunch (12:30-2:30) which was a nice addition to the ambiance. We had coconut shrimp, fish tacos, fish sandwich, fish and chips and hula pie. All were delicious!

Four of us went to Hula Grill for lunch on Dec 2nd. We had the premium Mai Tais (delicious) and two yummy appetizers, calamari and ribs. They were amazing. We each ordered separate meal and they were outstanding. Pineapple upside down cake was dense and delicious. Five stars for food and service!

Cocktails were delicious. Anjou pear cocktail was unique and tasty. Old fashioned with Japanese whiskey was great. Andy’s service was excellent. Prompt but allowed us to relax also. Butterfish was cooked perfectly. Ribs were tender and tasty. And yes the ramen was delicious too. View was lovely and parking was easy.

Leilani’s is a must if you’re in the area. The food is amazing, and so is the service. We had Maggie, who also was from Ohio, like us. She took amazing care of us! The food was outstanding as well! We also visited their Beach Bar quite a few times, which is located downstairs. They also have amazing service and great food, and is also a must if you’re visiting. We can’t wait to come back and dine with you all again!

Food was outstanding! We made the reservation without knowing they would have a thanksgiving menu and were anticipating seafood, but could not resist trying the special thanksgiving selections. They did not disappoint. We started with the Ube bread, and with the melted honey butter and drinks, made a tasty start to the evening. The seafood coming to tables around us looked fantastic also and I only wish we could have had more time on Maui to return and try more. We will be back in the future!
