Restaurants near Mackinaw Valley Vineyard

We were passing through town and wanted to stop for a nice dinner. We couldn’t have been happier than to stumble onto Baxter’s. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated right away. Eric, our waiter, was fantastic! He took the time to explain the menu, answered our questions, and made great recommendations. We both had the prime rib, cooked to perfection. My dining partner ordered a “moist end” cut and it was perfect. The only issue was that the food runners did not clear the salad plates before delivering the main course. A minor issue easily fixed. Thanks to Eric we had a wonderful meal and will definitely dine here again next time we’re in town. If you go, ask to be seated at Eric’s table for a memorable experience.

Always a wonderful experience! We always get seated right away at the time of our reservation and the food is always absolutely delicious! Our favorite “date-night” location!
