Judith is a new American tavern pairing warm hospitality and the cooking of James Beard Nominated Chef Julia Sullivan (Henrietta Red in Nashville) located in the quiet area of Sewanee, TN near the University of the South. The name is an homage to Judith Ward Lineback, the first woman to matriculate into the University in 1969.As Sullivan’s first solo project, Judith will feature a seasonal menu of creative and approachable dishes including a selection of small, shareable plates perfect for the bar crowd. The beverage program mirrors the food with accessible wines and a cocktail list created by Henrietta Red's Beverage Manager Patrick Halloran.The warehouse-style building, previously the Old Steam Laundry which serviced the University since the 1950’s, has additional space for private dining and parties. This restaurant is divine, with a most accommodating and friendly staff. The food is delicious, and the menu is varied to accommodate most cuisine preferences. The dining rooms are large enough to adequately space the tables so that you are not in someone els's conversation or vice versa. Sierra is just the best....her personality, her commitment to pleasing the customer, her knowledge of the menu choices, and her ability to listen to the patron and relay the message exactly to the Chef.

We went to celebrate my birthday. It was our first time ever at a Dave and Buster's. The food was awesome, the staff was so kind and friendly and really on top of everything. We had a great time. It was a little louder than what I'm used to and we had to yell a little bit across the table, but overall it was a great time.
