Love this local gem in Manchester VT food service and ambiance are excellent. We started dinner with duck liver pate with rhubarb sauce and asparagus spears which was great. We both had the roasted halibut which was also so excellent. Highly recommended!

Back with another outstanding recommendation for the Copper Grouse! We had the pan seared Cod and Short rib dishes. They were great! Large portions, great flavor, paired with seasonal vegetables, both were delightful!! Our server was Lea, who was fantastic! Cannot say enough about what a great job she did, friendly, professional and welcoming to both and our dog who joined us on the veranda for dinner! This place is very dog friendly, providing welcome, water and treats for our four legged friend!! My inly suggestion would be some fans to move the air. However we were there during a record heat wave so it was to be expected. Can not say it enough, if you are in Manchester, you must try the Copper Grouse!! You will not be disappointed!!

Exceptional service. Fabulous food. Great chef. The only thing I would change is to have an itemized check when we are paying. Not a big deal but I would like to see it. Also, the soup is always so good and I wish the cup was a little larger. Liz Skaleski.

Great restaurant! Our first time here and we loved it! Great starters that were unique and delicious. BBQ was wonderful. The sides were very good. We will go back anytime we are in the area.

Lived in Manhattan for 30 years and have traveled the world, and this is a top 5 restaurant. Sounds crazy to say that, but it's a fact. Dime store setting is quaint but not kitschy. Staff is unbelievably friendly, and cocktails superb. Given the lack of local competition, they don't even have to be this good.  They must love what they do, because there's no other way this level of excellence is achieved
