Restaurants near Little Hunting Creek Park

This was one of our most enjoyable stops on our trip to DC. We loved everything about it, the food was outstanding as well as the service. And such a very neat place!! We will definitely return if we get to that part of the country again!! It's a must!

Cedar Knoll has been around for decades. For most of that time the restaurant did not live up to its gorgeous location along side the Potomac river, just a short distance from Mt. Vernon. I'm delighted to say that over the past decade everything has changed! The current owners now deliver a first class dining experience to match the stunning views of the river. We sat on the patio on a lovely night, watching the river roll by while listening to a charming flemenco duo, sipping a nice Pinot Noir and enjoying expertly prepared blackened rockfish with lobster dumplings and veal scallopini with fresh vegetables. The entire experience was an absolute treat, from the pre-dinner drinks (the Francis Scott Key Lime was a hit!) right down to the last sip of De La Chappelle Pino Noir. A perfectly charming evening!

Fantastic experience. Food and service were superb. We will be back. Highly recommended.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. Parking is plentiful.

Big slab ribs. Delicious peach tea tastee and our servicer was great.
