Restaurants near Leighton Park

Everything was great however they could use a couple of more wait staff. Service was Slow. Asked for a cup for my beer and it never came. The server was hustling just had too many large tables. Their chicken wings are one of the best.

We have dined here many times since opening .The restaurant is such a joy to go to for our Friday night “ date night”. We both work very hard but love what we do. Palm City Social provides a lovely, inviting atmosphere to dine in, friendly hostesses, waiters and waitresses and the menu has upscale , reasonably priced dishes, all of which are perfectly seasoned and most of all balanced . Last evening when my wife and I arrived the manager / ? Owner approached me and said I no longer had to request the booth we enjoy eating at. My wife gets to people watch and it’s little cooler closer to the entrance than near the kitchen .However, for 99% of people the temperature is great . I believe I’ve inherited Polar Bear genes along the way but let’s not go there . The waitress was friendly and articulate in describing the specials , gave us time in between courses because we actually talk to eachother rather than taking pictures of our meals and checking emails or watching Tik Tok videos. My wife had a glass of Bonanza Cabernet, generous pour and tasty, full bodied as always . I had a chocolate Old Fashion made with Makers Mark, chocolate sauce drizzle abd chocolate bitters . Spectacular. The evening got off to a good start. We shared the Caesar salad made with Romaine hearts, freshly grated Reggiano, butter baked croutons and house Caesar dressing . Their salads are never drenched in industrial made salad dressing. They are always perfectly balanced. Wife had her usual steak. The specific name of it escapes me ( aging ) but she gave me a bite and wow , amazing as was the gravy , veggie and buttery mashed potatoes - hit the spot for sure and an exact medium rare. My short rib entree was amazing! Braised overnight and topped with roasted wild mushrooms and red wine Demi glacé accompanied whipped creamy locally sourced potatoes as well as veggies . Incredible!!! We didn’t have desert last night. The Packers vs. Eagles were in soon. Do yourselves a favor; GO!!! JUST GO!!

Always a great dining experience at the Gafford! Drinks, food, service were excellent.

If you haven't been to this place, you truly are missing out. We have been here many times and even though it doesn't seem possible, it seems to get better and better. Kait was a fabulous waitress, humorous & efficient...great combination. The food? .....always spot on. Can't thank you enough for making out time out on the town, just more special. We'll be back!
