The restaurant boast some wonderful bespoke ironwork along with a vintage industrial feel . This restaurant offers a modern ambiance an ideal place to catch up with family and friends and enjoy our mouthwatering local dishes. The InnThe Inn is full of old world charm with little hidden nucks for dining. This restaurant is full of character and is used at lunch times primarily, but in the evenings, it offers a cosy ambiance lit by candle light ideal for a more casual approach to dining.The Inn also offers an afternoon tea which is simply divine. Served between 2pm-5pm by prior bookings only.The Bar and Snug is a relaxed and super cosy space sticking with the old charm of the Inn which this part of the building offers. It has an impressive wood burning stove and is dog friendly.

Using only freshly sourced Lancashire ingredients, including fresh seasonal vegetables, juicy steaks, fresh fish along with deliciously prepared vegetarian options, we have a menu to suit all tastes.     We eat at The Royal in Bolton le Sands regularly. We usually go for brunch or lunch with friends and it’s our favourite place to go. The garden is absolutely amazing. Love it. Today we took our Aussie cousins. They loved it too. Thank you 🤩

    Booked for a quiet relaxed meal with my husband to celebrate his up coming birthday. Was greeted with a warm smile for all the staff and taken to our table promptly. The deco was simply but elegant, complementing the age of the building and lots of room between table so not on top of each other. As for the food beautiful cooked affair well presented and a good selection to choose from. Will defo go back with family next time as its great for all types of gatherings.

    The food was amazing we didn't have a starter as we choose mixed grill for 2, there was enough food actually for 3 people. Unfortunately 2 members of staff hadn't arrived so it took nearly an hour for the food to arrive which is why I haven't given 5 stars for service, but those people working were friendly polite and apologetic for the delay . Would definitely recommend the restaurant
