Restaurants near Lake Sunapee Golf Course

A beautiful autumn day for lunch at Red Rooster at The Woodstock Inn. We made reservations and drove up from Massachusetts. This is the first time dining here and the dining room is set up nicely with different seating arrangements depending on the number of people being seated at a table. The wait staff is very welcoming; the food was delicious. The ambiance in the dining room is really nice; it is an inn setting however the room is bright and inviting. Different age groups throughout the dining room so it was a nice mix of diners.

Great restaurant Rosemary chicken a 10 Sicilian wine smooth and tasty Bolognase a bit too sweet

We ordered the Nachos, Wings with dry rub and Nashville Hot sauce and the Vermonter sandwich—all excellent!

Great cocktails. They made our bougie margaritas EXACTLY as we like them!!! Awesome pumpkin spice cake and profiteroles for dessert. I had the jager schnitzel and it was delicious, as was the squash bisque. Others had beet salad and chicken polonaise and said theirs were very good too! It is a one room space (the old courtroom) but was not full so it wasn’t loud for us. Menu changes each month so we look forward to checking back again.

Delicious food and good service. The restaurant is warm and inviting. Local gem.
