Pleased with the food and considerate, fast service

This was a first visit to Scioto Downs. We made a reservation and wanted a quiet table. No booths were available and the hostess seated us at a table but we wanted a more private location. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant behind a large table of 6. When we asked the hostess if we could move to another table she didn’t want to move us and we almost left. Our server, Matt came to begin our order and we asked to move and he accommodated us quickly and professionally. Matt was very personable and took our orders and the food was served very timely and the food was delicious Matt expressed that he wanted to make sure we had a wonderful experience and we did. We would certainly return if we found ourselves in the area again.

Thursday nights are Prime Rib night and the Prime Rib meal was excellent. My Prime Rib was prepared exactly how I like it.

Exceptionally creative food and very delish! Went back a second night.

A special spot in downtown Nelsonville.. Dining room is run by the local Culinary school. . ie Master chefs in the making . Food was very good, especially the desserts.
