Restaurants near La Quinta Inn Sandpoint

As noted before, a great addition to Bayview. The menu has gotten even better, service is great and Taverns has become “a place” for Bayview. Lots of groups, families and couples. The evening we were there, two large tables had arrived just before us (literally 20+ people in total). Nevertheless, our server (Brianna) handled us very well, making sure we were served as timely as possible, and we had a nice evening. The owner, Jason, stopped by several times as well. We had two pastas (shrimp pesto and a Thai preparation), both excellent, a ravioli appetizer (also excellent) and our drinks were also very good. We will continue to be regulars.

This was my.second.visit here. The first time had been very memorable, as was this. We had the fresh mozzarella, bruchetta, two pasta dishes, and the osso bucco.that melted in your mouth like butter. Service was impeccable. Well worth the price.

My wife's dessert (Rhubarb-Strawberry Cheesecake), while VERY tasty, had some hair-like additions in the crust which se picked out of her mouth and placed on the dessert plate. We commented to our waiter about this (not seeking any compensation or anything like that). He expressed concern, but my wife saw him place the contents of the dessert crumbs and the 5 hair-like particles in the trash. Other than that, Anthony's is a very nice place with very good food; we go there regularly, although not often, usually for special occasions, and will continue to go, and enjoy the food there.

The tasting menu was very well designed and executed. The wine pairings were on point. The interaction of the staff with each other and the chef/owner made it super fun. We sat together at a large table and interaction among the guests was encouraged and made it a memorable experience. We will definitely do this again. And now they do a Sunday brunch. Gonna have to try that next!
