Positive- great menu based on MT beef with creatively crafted cocktails. For non beef eaters, there is a fish of the day (they had sold out by time of our reservation), a vegetarian meal, a chicken and a pork dish. Our server was lovely as was service of establishment overall. Neg: Found restaurant to be overpriced. Having lived & dined in many cities including iconic restaurants in London, NYC, Rome, Milan, etc - Mercantile is charging a premium for their locally sourced meat that can be easily found elsewhere with the up charge for the ambience which is indeed a cool take on the old school steakhouse. Popovers are their special appetiser, these do somewhat rival Britain’s Yorkshire puddings served with Sunday roasts but take a different turn with an herb butter rather than paired with the traditional beef and gravy. Pretty sure it’s a place for visitors, and not the local haunt.

Food was amazing! We had Burrata and peaches, Brussels sprouts, bison and corn and it was amazing! The calamari was a little tough but everything else was amazing! Service was top notch as well including management.

Incredible from start to finish! Wish we lives close by to enjoy this restaurant weekly. Well done!

Everything was excellent as it always is!! The service and food are really exceptional

The ambiance, quality of food and waitstaff was fantastic. Took my extended family here during their visit and everyone was extremely happy with their dinner.
