Compliments to our wait person, Hanna, she was personable and took excellent care of us. The Carpaccio and Freddie salad top notch, fantastic steak, mrs enjoyed the Dover Sole, the tater tots were great, the preparation was not what one would expect. The Halloween dessert special, Mr Bones, was creative and very good. This place isn't inexpensive but it is top notch, an experience worth indulging in.More infoJeff Ruby's Steakhouse - CincinnatiPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Central Business District•4.9

Nick was very personable and helpful explaining the menu. We enjoyed the Vesper Martini, Sage Gimlet and Ruby Old Fashioned which were delicious and good pours for a change. Steaks were top notch, cooked to perfection, best we’ve had in many dining experiences. The butter cake w gelato was over the top dessert.More infoLosantiPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Over the Rhine•4.7

We sat up in the bar for dinner and love the more relaxed atmosphere but the same amazing food. The steaks are always cooked perfectly and love the Freddie salad is a family favorite of ours. If you're looking for a great place for some amazing cocktails, food, and service then this is your place. Zoie was our server and she took amazing care of us.More infoThe PrecinctPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Hyde Park•4.8
- CCherylvipCincinnati / Dayton •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoUpon entering this nondescript restaurant one enters darkened steps leading into an unexpected energetic atmosphere reminiscent of an Italian hideaway. We immediately felt we were in a special place….and the food and impeccable service by knowledgeable waitstaff did not dissapoint. Our waitress Bailey answered our questions about wine and the entrees making us wanting to order everything on the menu. Our party of 4 decided on the goat cheese and honey grilled bread as a precursor to the lemony arugula, shaved Parmesan insalata, creamy short rib capalacci, black truffled pasta and pork loin. All were delicious and delightfully satisfying,More infoSottoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Central Business District•4.9
- DDiannevipCincinnati / Dayton •84 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy husband and I ate at Pepp and Dolores before the FCC playoff game, and we had a great experience, as always. We especially enjoyed our waitress, Darla! We shared the Homemade Ricotta with the sourdough bread, and it is our favorite. It is wonderful, and we could just eat that and be happy. We shared the Wedge salad which was okay, but not a favorite. Everything looked great on it, but we didn't care for the gorgonzola dolce dressing. We expected something thicker, and this was thin and seemed to be kind of vinegary. We would prefer ranch, blue cheese, or a creamy gorgonzola dressing. The roasted heirloom tomatoes were fabulous, and the jowl bacon was great! We then shared Pasta with The Sunday Sauce. We loved the meatballs that added a great finish to the pasta and sauce. We'll probably for for the spicy vodka sauce next time for a little bit more of a kick. We will continue going to Pepp and Dolores, and we need to be adventurous and try some new items. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio, and is was delicious. Darla, thanks for your attentiveness and personality!More infoPepp & DoloresPrice: Moderate• Italian• Over the Rhine•4.9
