Restaurants near Kemper Park Nature Preserve

We had a great night. Love your drinks. Food was good. Had lobster roll but didn’t know that the chips were extra at $7! Guess I should have had my readers on when I read the menu.

We are wine club members so we shared a wine tasting before dinner. Excellent service from Nick who was new and Sue who was training him! They knew their wines! I tried a new dish tonight… the braised short ribs which were absolutely delicious! My husband had his usual favorite dish Ellie’s Chicken Piccata which was delicious too he said! Chris our wait person was attentive and checked on us often. We have never had a bad meal at any Cooper’s Hawk restaurants we have tried from Missouri to Wisconsin! Glad we are members!

Joy- in the wine tasting room is such a good ambassador for CH! Always friendly, you can just see the care she shows to her regular customers- actually heard some say that they love her and that she makes their day. Our food server was ok, seemed new, but he was very attentive. We sat outside on a beautiful evening. The restaurant is less busy at the beginning of the month- which makes it a better experience than the end of the month crowds.

It is always a wonderful experience when I dine here, whether by myself, with family or friends. This evening I came to celebrate my friend’s birthday for dinner and again they didn’t disappoint….. from the kind gesture of wishing her happy birthday as we came in, with the adorable birthday card on the table upon our arrival, birthday confetti and finally ending the night beautifully with a complementary dessert for her. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and perfect. The steak was cooked perfectly to a medium temperature, the Seabass was melt in your mouth delicious and the steak salad and lobster bisque were top-notch. Thank you again for always going the extra mile for your loyal customers . 

Food, drinks and service was great. Didn’t tell the server it was one ours birthdays he just overheard us talking about it, at the end of the meal he came out with a dessert, sparkler and sang happy birthday. Fun surprise. Always a favorite restaurant for us.
