- EEboniNew Jersey •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI went for my birthday. We were running behind, and they pushed my reservation back for me. The food was excellent, and the view outside was amazing! It was a great experience. I had a great birthday celebration there! I would definitely recommend it.More infoHudson & CoPrice: Expensive• American• Jersey City•4.6
- EEmersonPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at Maddy Rose tonight, and it was absolutely amazing. This choice was a complete shot in the dark. I had never heard of them. It was literally a ChatGPT inquiry for restaurants from Jersey City to Weehawken with a view of the city. The food was excellent, the view was excellent, the live jazz band was excellent, the drinks were excellent, and the service was excellent - all of them. Enrique was our server, and he was absolutely amazing. They had special Anniversary Menus, and our deserts had little chocolate "Happy Anniversary " labels. Oh yes, and the desert was excellent. After dinner, we sat by the fire pit and listened to the rest of the jazz set until it ended. Let me not forget the wonderful hostess that patiently took us to several different seating areas until we found one that suited us. Kudos all the way around. This will certainly not be our last visit. We are telling everyone we know!More infoMaddy Rose at Liberty HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Jersey City•4.7

- CCathyNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 21, 2024LOVED this cozy, comfortable spot! The food, drinks, service, and entire vibe is fantastic! My husband and I shared the homemade burrata appetizer; it was wonderful! Creamy and plentiful with just the right amount of arugula, tomato, yummy basil pesto and balsamic vinaigrette drizzle, (the accompanying fresh, warm garlic bread was an added plus!) For entree, I had the Fall Vegetable & Butternut Squash Risotto with Grilled Salmon - it arrived plentiful, fresh, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully! My husband had the Braise Short Ribs which came over mashed potatoes with try-colored carrots and a fabulous red wine root vegetable sauce; he LOVED it! For dessert he had the Downtown Bread Pudding with vanilla bean ice cream (it is normally served with dulche de leche ice cream topped with a salted caramel sauce - but my hubs is not a caramel fan); I am not a dessert eater, but had a spoonful - and it was FABULOUS!! Next time I am saving room for dessert and ordering this (and I AM a caramel fan!). I noted they have many vegetarian and gluten free options as well. The staff was friendly, fast - but not rushing - and accommodating. This place is owned and operated by Dan Latham who ran The Latham House (downtown JCIty) for a few years. We LOVED that place - so it's no surprise The Table is also above and beyond! Oh - and it has parking across the street!! (they validate on week nights ... weekend parking is always free!)....We look forward to returning to try their handmade pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, bar bites on those not so hungry nights, and their weekend brunch menu looks yummy as well!!More infoThe TablePrice: Moderate• American• Jersey City•4.1
