Established in 2019, Osito’s Tap is a “speakeasy” style bar focused on the art of craft spirts, craft beer & craft cocktails. Located in the heart of the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, our community oriented bar brings a modern Latin flair to a classic Chicago vibe. Once home to a Bohemian bar in the early 1900’s for Czech immigrants, this historic Grey-stone building was the front to an underground bookie joint. We pay homage to our community’s past by blending our neighborhoods rich history with Little Village’s current Latino culture. Here at Osito’s Tap, we aim to give our customers a unique and interactive experience filled with exotic and rare drinks by incorporating our values of education, community, inclusiveness and enjoyment.

My parents were visiting the city and we decided to dine here due to the view and their reputation as a staple Chicago steakhouse. The appetizers and the steak were great, the pasta was really good and the service was fantastic. We were able to bring our own wine bottle to celebrate as it wasn’t on the menu and it is a favorite of my dad’s from back home, highly recommend

We dined at Alla Vita for my wife’s birthday, and everything was outstanding from start to finish. Our server was great, and the restaurant hit all the right notes to make my wife feel special. The menu was personalized with a Happy Birthday message, and she was served a birthday cake ice cream sundae at the end. We split the chopped salad, the grilled octopus, the ricotta dumplings and the ribeye. Each was fantastic. I really believe the ricotta dumplings are a top 10 Chicago dish. Also, you might not think to get the steak at this restaurant, but it stood up to any of the great steakhouse steaks in this city. The chopped salad is one that you really need to try. Light and flavorful and delicious. And the grilled octopus had almost a fried chicken mouthfeel- it had a crunchy exterior but also tender meat in the middle. One of the best grilled octopus dishes in Chicago. We will certainly be back. The service was attentive, well-paced and helpful. Awesome spot for a great meal.
