Nebo Lodge is a small inn and restaurant on the unbridged island of North Haven, Maine. Dining at Nebo Lodge requires a boat ride to reach North Haven. The Maine State Ferry does not accommodate dinner reservations as the last ferry departs North Haven at 3:45pm. Nebo offers a private dinner cruise to reach the island most Fridays and Saturdays; tickets can be purchased here: http://www.nebolodge.com/round-trip-dinner-cruise. The purchased tickets guarantees you a reservation here for that night at 5:00. We were impressed with the staff's knowledge of the menu and the food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We did the tasting menu and it was fabulous. So wonderful to find high-end dining tucked away in such a small gorgeous coastal town.

Altho we were just here not three weeks ago, Franny’s ever gets tiresome. And last night I had the duck confit arugula salad for the first time and it’s very good! The confit is not dry, and the pears work well in the salad. And I had her crab cakes appe for dinner because they’re that good ,too! Busy at 7 last night but the service was very good, she was attentive and helpful without being annoying. A good night.
