South End was home to Charlotte’s first railroad line, connecting us to Columbia and Charleston, SC in the mid-1800’s. “Link & Pin” is an old railroad term. A “Link” was installed on one railcar then, as the two railcars were joined, a “Pin” was manually inserted into the other railcar’s link, holding the two railcars together. Since we are in Historic South End and on a light rail stop, we felt the name Link & Pin was a good fit.Dress Code-To ensure a quality experience for all of our guests and to meet our standard of service, we encourage our guests to dress in an elegant, upscale manner that fits our environment. https://www.linkandpin.com/dress-code/

Amazing food - tapas style. We basically ate the menu - my favorites were the baked oysters (crab stuffed) the scallops, king crab but don’t sleep on the lamb pasta! It was great. And to the chef who wanted Chicago recommendations 1. Chavel - best cheeseburger - west loop 2.Duck duck goat - west loop - Asian 3. La scarolla - Italian 4. Steak - gene and georgette’s- a little cliche but it’s great. So many great steak places 5. Allinia- bucket list worthy

There are a lot of great restaurants in Charlotte and this is one of the better ones. The deviled eggs with caviar (Oef Mimosa) are a great start! The roasted chicken is amazing as is the Loup de Mer. We had the Petit Gateau au Chocolate for desert and it was amazing - the passionfruit crème in the center goes really well with the chocolate mousse. Service was amazing. Drinks were outstanding. We have been here three times now on our travels to or from home and each time has been a wonderful experience

Excellent food and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Took my family there for my daughter’s graduation dinner and they provided a complimentary appetizer and a nice gift for her. It really made her evening and I’ve never witnessed a restaurant that shows the level of personal service. The food was really good and I would go there again.

We’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened last year. We went for brunch and everything was fantastic-atmosphere, food, service! We got coffee, the chocolate and almond croissants (amazing!), and I had the coquette Benedict which was really good. We will definitely be back to try their dinner menu.
