Early booking so the place was quiet but the food was amazing, service great and we really enjoyed our meal and the experience. Definitely a gem in Aberdeen, set menu for a decent price, good beer and wines with some really special menu items. Pork belly was superb.

Disappointed that main courses came with limited or no vegetables - irritating to have to order eg potatoes as a side. One waitress (Brea) seemed to be doing almost all the work whilst other 3 staff members twiddled about with their hair and gossiped together.

A warm welcome as soon as we walked in the door from the friendly receptionist. We had a lovely table in the corner overlooking the bridge and river. The restaurant was not very busy so it was quiet which meant we were able to talk to our friends easily, not having seen them for some time. The waitresses were polite, pleasant and attentive, giving ample time for making our menu choices and checking to see if we required anything further during the meal. The haddock portions are extra-large! I ordered the Seared salmon tagliatelle which was extremely tasty and, as I don’t have a big appetite, much too large a portion for me so I was offered a take-away box which meant that I have repeated the experience all over again this evening! Our relatives, visiting from Somerset, were very impressed with the whole experience and we felt proud to have such a great restaurant in our local area.
