Restaurants near Hudson Museum

A fabulous evening out with our niece! Delicious food, delightful service, and tasty cocktails!

We were in town for a meeting and wanted to stay over night at the inn. We also booked for dinner at the restaurant. I was gobsmacked to see so many gluten-free options on the menu, and overjoyed to learn they serve gluten-free rolls upon request (better to let them know ahead of time you are gluten-free so they have them prepared). The inn, the restaurant, the hosts, and all of the staff were genuinely kind. We have decided to go stay there at least once a year now whether we have an event to attend or not. Why not? They know how to treat you right!

Although we had a reservation, it took three repetitions of our name for the hostess to find us. Not a positive start. Our server quickly made up for that (almost). She was competent, got our orders quickly and delivered them promptly. The food was also served timely and was good and hot when it arrived. My personal pizza was sort of dry, maybe over-cooked a bit. My daughter mentioned hers was as well. The others seemed satisfied that their food was okay, and it disappeared pretty quickly. The entire time, our server kept glasses filled and checked back frequently. The restaurant is not cozy. It’s a big open place. Not too many tables were filled, so no interrupting nearby conversations. We will most likely go back. It is usually good food, but with Mother’s Day, the kitchen may have had more to do so couldn’t watch some of the food as well.

It was very busy but still good. The food was very good. The red sparkling wine excellent. As always good place to go.

We traveled over five hours from Massachusetts to check out a local college and stayed overnight in Bangor. My nephew loves BWW and it was a great time to relax with him after a long day. The food was perfect and the wait staff was great. Highly recommended
