In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water. Amazing place! The entire staff was so friendly & helpful. Started at the bar for a drink where we talked to locals, before moving to a table for dinner. Living in a small town ourselves we really appreciate the small town hospitality! Food was amazing. Will definitely be going back!

Excellent dining experience. We sat in the room with the fireplace and Christmas tree. The food was exceptional and the complimentary champagne was such a nice touch. I highly recommend this restaurant.

On December 28th, 2024 we had an excellent dinner at The Washington Inn. My wife had roasted wild mushroom soup, baked escargot, and the colors of the garden salad. I had 2 oysters and seafood cioppino. For dessert we shared Bananas Foster. All the food was excellent along with the service. This restaurant exudes old time Cape May quality and I am sorry we have not dined here more often. The bill came to $150 including tip.
