Restaurants near Hotel Eden - Am Hofgarten

Tasty food. Pork with bone was very tastefully. We had the half a plate each and it was sufficient. Sausages were small. Staff was nice and helpful with their recommendations! Very traditional place. Despite the beers, there were also several options of wines from the region by glass.

We sat on the patio and our server took nearly 30 minutes to take our beverage order. We weren't in a hurry, but we were thirsty. The view of the Rhine was the highlight. The food was generally ok, but for the price, I was expecting something a little more memorable. The restaurant was busy (most tables inside and out were full) and generally had good energy to it. The restaurant was also clean (including the bathrooms) and seemed to be well run so I'm guessing our experience may have been unusual and our server was simply overloaded at the time. In any event, I would recommend it for the location, especially the patio, but I don't think its a destination location for the food and I'm not sure I'll be rushing back the next time I'm in Bonn.
