"I didn't appreciate the automatic 18% tip, since the service was "OK." I dined alone and there were only 4-5 tables being served since it was earlier in the evening. I ordered an appetizer (Drunken Mussels and Clams) and an arugula salad with fresh burrata (the burrata was not warm). I was overlooked several times due to the "crowd." I had a mojito prior to dinner and wanted a glass of wine for dinner. I finally had to flag down one of the staff for that.
I also wanted another glass of water, and finally flagged down a hostess to let SOMEONE know I wanted it. Not busy...not concerned...not attentive. However, the waiter delivered the check before I finished my meal.
I might add that even though there was a couple and a young woman sitting across from me, they received STELLAR service...while I sat waiting no more than 5' away.
As soon as I was asked if I was done, the check was the fastest part of the service all night. Hmmmmmm🤔 What's wrong with THIS picture?"See more
"If you like a nice, quiet breakfast, lunch or dinner spot, with a various choice of hotel-quality appetizers, entrees and beverages, Market at the Miami Beach Edition is a nice place in the middle of Miami Beach. The prices are on par with a 4-star hotel, and menu choices are made by gourmet chefs. You may need to request tap water on ice, if you don't want to buy bottled waters. But the service is efficient, and the atmosphere is like a deluxe cafe, with the view of baked goods and the kitchen up front, pots and pans and all. They also feature a happy hour, and right now their Miami Spice menu is a good way to introduce yourself to the quality of the food."See more
"What an amazing restaurant! My husband and I went for my birthday today, and we had the best time! Our server Cyd Marie, was amazing, super attentive and nice! The things she recommended for us to order were perfect! The food and drinks also were the best! We will be back again! And totally recommend this place to eat, drink, and have a great chill time!"See more
"Great decor, service, food and drink. The noise level was the one negative. Admittedly we were among the older set of diners at the just inside the lobby restaurant at The Generator--an international hostel concept. And yet, conversation over dinner with friends was challenging. Back to the pluses: Miami Spice menu featuring two exceptional options for this vegetarian-asparagus as a 'light start,', romanesco as 'serious eat.' Charred asparagus: asparagus bright green and crisp topped with a crispy, yes crispy, poached egg. A sensory delight! Charred romanesco (okay, we've got a 'charred' theme going here but we mix it up for dessert): the harissa sauce on which the romanesco (aka broccoli cauliflower) is plated takes the dish to a memorable level. A Miami Spice wine flight-albarino and red blend-was a nice pairing. Panna Cotta for 3rd course-pleasant cooling contrat following harissa sauce, a bit too gelatin-like for me but the flavor profile of the dish as a whole was a great ending. Also notable from my dinner companions: 'The Old Fashioned' from the bar and 'Crisp Skin Airline Chicken.'"See more
"Great flavours. Attentive service. Friendly too, not too pretentious but absolute quality. Best place I ate in Miami, and I do like a good Michelin star standard. Highly recommended, do visit!"See more
"The food was great. They didn't have the creme brûlée which I was looking forward to.The food took a little long to come out but it was worth it because it was delicious and fresh. We went on a Monday night and the place was really quiet."See more
