Here’s a more succinct version of the feedback: Feedback: I mentioned during booking that we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, but there was no acknowledgment of it during our visit. It was disappointing, especially since other restaurants often offer a small gesture or even just a kind word when told it’s a special occasion. A simple recognition would have made the evening feel more special.

A really lovely early evening pizza at the Rusty Oven For our party of 8 Great ambience, lovely service and great pizza . Good value food and nipping into the pub for a pint was quirky and not at all a bother. We had a great family birthday evening Highly recommended

We had the steaks form the Thursday night grill menu. Best steak we’ve had in a long time. Portions were massive, food was delicious and service was great. Will be back.

The simple eggs on toast was tasty. Except $5 is a bit pricey to add bacon. I would have ordered the smashed avo but it came with beetroot feta so that ruined it for me. I also got a freak shake for the first time. It was supposed to be a blue heaven thick shake but it was only a milkshake so that was a bit disappointing. Overall though it was nice and I'll probably be back.
