Nestled in the hills of Ka'u, enjoy an unrivaled dining experience that combines breathtaking panoramic views with an exceptional culinary journey. Being a truly Mauka to Makai experience (meaning from the mountain to the sea in Hawaiian), you can view the top of Mauna Loa and the Ka'u coastline while enjoying locally sourced ingredients from Mauka to Makai.Embracing the spirit of the islands, we take pride in highlighting the Canoe Crop ingredients - native plants cultivated by the early Polynesian settlers who arrived in Hawaii by canoe. These ingredients, deeply rooted in Hawaiian history, add a unique and authentic touch to our dishes. We work closely with nearby farmers and fishermen to ensure that most ingredients used in our dishes are locally grown or sustainably foraged from the surrounding lands and ocean. This supports the local community and allows us to create dishes that are incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and in harmony with the natural rhythms of the island.

Very great service, our table was ready for us no wait time for Sunday brunch. Food was great although the crab meat was soggy and not salted. The atmosphere was perfect and our waiter took good care of our group of 13.

One of our favorite restaurants. The service is excellent and the ambiance is chill. My husband & I have dietary restrictions and the staff knows how to prepare our meal to fit our needs. The food is absolutely delicious and the presentation is stellar. This is our regular spot to dine because the quality of the entire dining experience never lets us down.

It was a delightful experience! When I told the local winery I had a booking here, they said I was really lucky as it’s a special event that has an excellent reputation, and they were right! The drive up had beautiful views, only fully appreciated from the top where the dining area is. I am amazed that the farm-to-table experience was so well-crafted with respect to local utilization. Every dish was beautifully plated and offered a balanced palette. I love that everything I ate not only tasted complex and delicious, but it also nourished my body. What a skill to be high-end in craft and true to the farm life! The staff is knowledgeable and kind and eager to share their love of the land. If you worry about driving at night and don’t mind a camping experience, you can stay the night. So glad I found this gem and will tell all my friends about it. I can’t wait to go back!
