Restaurants near Haus Rungholt

It was my birthday, which I had also mentioned when making the reservation. The food was excellent, and the ambiance was very pleasant. Unfortunately, our main course was forgotten, which caused a bit of a delay. I completely understand that things like this can happen, especially during high season. What I did find disappointing, however, was that we weren’t allowed to order dessert and were instead asked to vacate the table for the next guests. We were a group of three and had spent 600 euros in just two hours. Being asked to leave without any attempt to offer a solution felt quite disheartening, especially on my birthday and it’s not being our fault. It wasn’t the experience I had hoped for.

My experience at restaurant Alt Wyk on Föhr can be summarized in one word "excellent", excellent in all aspects regarding the visit of a first class restaurant. What I find utterly pleasant as well is a non-stiff but relaxed und prudent atmosphere.

We love Oma Wilma. The food, wine list and personal service were all excellent. We ate there twice - for both lunch and dinner. Made our memories and time in Sylt even more special. Definitely recommend and when we return to Keitum & Sylt will be on the top of our list to enjoy once again.
