Went on a week day lunchtime, so was reasonably quiet. The food was beautiful and exquisitely presented. The service just right and very respectful. The decor is amazing and the whole experience was enough to make me want to go back very soon.

Everything 10/10 food, drinks, service, ambience could not fault anything!

During a short break at the Black Bull we had two very good evening meals there. On our first night it was Curry Night - top notch food, fresh, tasty - my lamb rogan josh & my wife's Keralan fish curry both excellent (as was the onion bhaji, nothing like ones you get from a supermarket!). On our last night it was the a la carte menu, and that was a special meal - high quality, excellent presentation, really enjoyable. The starters & dessert were very good, my wife's monkfish and my venison both superb. The Black Bull definitely deserves its reputation for excellent food.

Incredible food and service - we had a wonderful evening.

We have been coming to Simonstone since 2011. The welcome and the food have always been of the highest standard. The Sunday lunch menu doesn't give any choice but this was early February so I wouldn't expect this. The food was excellent.
