From the initial cordial and Hors d'oeuvres in the charming antebellum parlor to the outstanding 6 course prefix in the Smokehouse restaurant our service, drinks and food were outstanding AND imaginative!     We visit the Altland House a few times a year and we always have a good experience. The food is delicious, the service is great and the prices are reasonable. Our favorite dish is the Chicken and Waffles, a delicious regional dish which they have refined to perfection. We will continue to visit and recommend to friends.

    One of our favorite places to eat in Gettysburg. It's a little more on the expensive side, but as long as the quality of food, service, ambiance and portion size I don't mind paying it. I've never had a bad meal here!
