I always love seeing Mary and ask to be seated in the Bar area knowing that she will be our server. The Beet fries are Amazing too.

Lincolnites and others should keep Well & Good in mind for holiday dining. Two friends and I took advantage of their extended hours on Thanksgiving and their traditional Thanksgiving meal special (their regular menu remained available). We started with well-made cocktails (including the Scarlet Sazerac with rye) and with their smart update on an old-school crudite platter (designed to be shared). The turkey was moist even without the gravy, the portions of mashed potatoes and stuffing were generous, and the latter was notably well seasoned. The small ramekin of cranberry sauce was not so generous, but we understand that not everyone is as fond of the stuff as we are. Very nice to finish with tasty pumpkin pie. The "wine special" bottle of Skyside Chardonnay was a perfect accompaniment -- and a bargain with a less than 50% over retail markup. Service was attentive, amiable, never intrusive.

Nice neighborhood sports bar, great food and drink selections, variety of seating arrangements, easy to view TVs. Probably would have given a 5, but they were showing the Iowa games on all the TVs, and we had to request that they change it to the Husker bball game. They changed a couple TVs to that game, but as we were in Lincoln, at a sports bar, it felt odd having to ask, lol.

We come every Friday before Husker games to listen to the Cornhusker Marching Band-Zipline Pep Band play, drink a Dear Old Nebraska beer (in a souvenir Husker glass) and celebrate with family, friends and CMB. Our favorite appetizers include the brussel spouts, egg rolls and charcuterie. My favorite entree is the cedar planked salmon, I'm usually too full for desert. Great food and great atmosphere
