Restaurants near Hamlet Motel

Our dinner was excellent. We arrived early to have a drink at their 2nd floor bar. The bartender was very efficient. Ordered one of their specialty cocktails while my wife ordered a mock tail. Both were well balanced. Did not note the names. For dinner we tried their bruschetta which had homemade ricotta and tasty. We followed with their octopus which was prepared perfectly. Our entrees were papoardelle with duck and the tagliatelle. Of the two the tagliatelle was a standout with al dente noodles and a not so overly rich sauce with lobster and a dollop of caviar. We finished with their beignets which were over the top. Very nice addition to downtown and hope for continued excellence. The service was very attentive in a vibrant atmosphere. Recommended.

We have never had a bad experience at Camp 4. The food was creative and delicious. Our special requests were handled without fuss, and the wait staff was great. We were able to go early which was good because the ambient sound control seemed nonexistent. More than a few people create SO much noise that conversation stops. Maybe hang some sound-absorbing panels (painted black, of course), from the ceiling. The wine list is fascinating and it changes with every visit.

This place is our absolutely favorite restaurant! The place, employees, food and the ambiance is superb. You will not go wrong by eating here. Cal the manager is Fantastic. Chris & Bailey are just awesome. Whenever we are in Modesto for an event at the Gallo Center (which is often) we make reservations at Galletto’s. It’s like visiting family we love!

Service awesome food was great and the house margaritas were the best we had in a while we lived in Hughson for two years and this was are first time and we were very happy with everything see you again soon

Tesoro is a great spot, but I’d never classify them as “fine” anything. Typical Mexican food plating and flavors, nothing stands out on the food nor cocktail menu. However, great food and a fair price. 4.1/5
