Pho Nottingham is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.

    Overall a lovely evening. Staff were attentive and keen to please, couldn't be more helpful, with any minor issues speedily dealt with. Food was lovely and high quality. I'm glad we went for the three starter plate deal as the portion sizes of the main course weren't large, but I'd prefer quality over quantity any day, and the flavour range was excellent. Great pub standard dishes on offer with additional chef dishes on the new menu. Being a Tuesday night booking, the place wasn't packed and we could converse easily. Volume levels on the sound system went up significantly when the football came on the television, which wasn't really unexpected for a place with live sports I guess. Would I go again? Yes, absolutely. Looking forward to trying the carvery on one of the nights it's available.
