Ordered from the set menu offering, plus a cocktail and a bottle of good Malbec (reduced by 20% as part of the set menu deal). The cocktail was one of the best Aperol spritzes we’ve ever had. Both our starters and mains were excellent, as was the Malbec. Only slight criticism is that the Snug we were in was a little too dimly lit and a bit chilly. That said, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend eating here.

Menu is perfect, small but full of interesting things and our choices where superb. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was very good and there was a nice atmosphere in the room. I can heartily recommend it and hope to return when next in the area.

We ate at lunch time on a Sunday. Wow what a roast! I had pork and husband had beef. Great big yorkypuds too. Staff lovely, a couple of puds not available but still several choices. Can't speak highly enough of the friendly staff. Going back soon.
