Quiet evening seating near the garden. Food never disappoints.

Mathew was amazing! The food was good. The hostess stand is placed in an odd location.. you have to walk through the whole restaurant and then walk back to be seated. Other than that, the staff were very friendly. The appetizers came out quickly and over all taste was great with everything that was served.

Excellent as always. We were initially seated by the jazz combo, whose music was fabulous, but a little too loud. We asked if they could just turn their amps more toward the road so we could hear each other. Our waiter left to see what he could do and when he came back, he suggested a new table far from the stage. It wa perfect and we had a wonderful time.. The veal ravioli was the pick for 3 of us and my husband had the special swordfish. We all shared two orders of the beet salad…YUM!! Another great evening at Dante’s

My daughter and I were celebrating my BD. We had amazing experiences with food and specifically how attentive and knowledgeable our waiter was during our dinner. I wanted to have a virgin drink and he actually brought two different kind of drinks for me to try before selecting one! Wow They were out of calamari but he suggested zucchini chips and it was an excellent choice. We both had pizza and they were delicious. I would go back there just for service, ambiance and of course the food.

Simply the best dining experience in the DC area. Sublime service, with everything timed perfectly. A throwback in terms of food quality, service, and overall experience. Getting VERY $$$, but still well worthwhile for a special event. For those who miss fine European dining, this it is.
