A very pleasant sunny afternoon on the Pied Bull Terrace watching the world go by on the bustling high street! Happy with the service and the assistance we got from staff regarding gluten free options (always available when we visit) Food served with a friendly smile and was super tasty. Parking is convenient at the back of the pub and is free as long as you log your registration number at the machine available on the bar. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again. Thanks to the Pied Bull Team!

We had booked a table for 4 and advised that we would be bringing a small dog. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful providing water and treats for the dog and a suitable table for us. The food was excellent. We will go again for sure.

Having not been to the Pick for a while we tried the Pick for Sunday Lunch on the 4th May. We were booked in for 1/5:00hrs and arrived a little early . We were shown to our table almost immediately and given the menu and asked for our drink order. There was no draft beer which was a little disappointing, but settled for a bottle of wine. The wine came in good time and our food order was taken. The food ,one chicken and one roast beef, Sunday lunch arrived within 30 minutes of sitting down. The food was very good and the portions ok. The service from both the staff who appeared to be covering both the bar and restaurant was excellent. Overall a decent Sunday lunch in the pleasant surroundings of the Pickering Arms in Thelwall Village.

Fabulous, lively atmosphere, great staff and good food. Great drinks and a fabulous terrace for the sunshine. The team could not do enough to look after us and make our evening special. First class!

Staff are always friendly and helpful, Good choice of food , would prefer a choice of cheese on the vegan menu as a vegetarian I like normal cheese, just a suggestion not a complaint
