Great meal! We had a shareable salad for the table and the fried ravioli. Then had two pizzas and finished with the chocolate chip skillet cookie. Friendly staff and yummy food! Highly recommend.

During our first visit to Chicago, we booked Aba to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. Jenny, also manning the bar, was our server. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and happy to answer any of our questions. We watched her make some amazing drinks all while taking care of us. We shared the CRISPY SHORT RIB HUMMUS*, grilled onion, sherry, beef jus, 18.95 with pita and gf crackers. Amazing! We shared the DIVER SCALLOPS, strawberry, artichoke mash, mint, pomegranate molasses, 32.95. Absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, we got the FROZEN GREEK YOGURT v Passion Fruit, Basil, 11.95 and the STICKY DATE CAKE v medjool date, sumac, whiskey caramel, whipped cream, 11.95. I would pass on the Greek yogurt but the sticky cake melted in our mouths. While dining, the gentleman next to us mentioned the BRUSSELS SPROUTS v almond & cashew dukkah, harissa honey, 14.95 were the best he’d ever had. Between overhearing that and the Sticky Date Cake, we booked again for the following evening!!! The second night was just as good as the first. This is not an inexpensive dining experience but the quality of the food, the amazing service, and the upscale atmosphere all play into those prices. We’ll be back the next time we visit the Windy City.

You definitely come here for the atmosphere and views which were both spectacular. The perfect choice for a special event. Our server was amazing and really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The pizza and pasta were good but the salads are underrated. Overall a great time.

First visit to celebrate a birthday and we loved it! Getting reservation took some effort but all else was fantastic! Beautiful setting with high vaulted ceilings and views of the skyline, river and lake. Approach is Tuscan family-style shared plates. We started with short rib meatballs and gnocchi and both delicious but the meatballs were incredible! Next up two pastas Gnudi di spinachi and rigatoni. Fresh house made pasta had wonderful bite and taste, gnudi was our fave. Then filet ordered medium rare and no exaggerating, one of the best cuts of beef I’ve ever tasted. Flavorful, beyond tender and cooked perfectly. Gelati and sorbet for dessert to cap a first rate meal and experience. Staff was attentive but not lurking or rushing you along. We will be back!
