Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England). Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal. The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Another wonderful evening at The Bank celebrating our friend’s birthday. 5 new visitors to The Bank agreed that the food was fantastic. We had two vegetarians; one no red meat person in the group, so started with the Kale dish. I had promised them that it is delicious and they were not disappointed! Then we followed with some daals; a prawn dish and a chicken dish; Peshawari Naan and some rice. All fantastic. Thank you to Hita and Rahul, Joe and the whole team at The Bank for their generous service and wonderful restaurant.
