Restaurants near Fox River Park

This was the second time I had lunch at Ema in Glenview and like the first experience, everything was excellent. I highly recommend the tuna patisse (it is slightly spicy) and both the brussels sprouts vegetable dish and the brussels sprouts salad. We had an early reservation for so the restaurant was quiet when we arrived but by the time we left, it was almost full, which was festive.

Our server Nicholas was an amazing server. He answered all our questions guided us to exactly what we wanted and help us find hidden treasures .

The food and service were exceptional. We appreciated the attention to detail.

From walking in to leaving it was such a great experience. We sat at the bar and had a drink, we were early. We were sat very close to our reservation time. The bartender was insightful, and helpful. Our wait staff was beyond knowledgeable and made us feel welcome and invited us into great discussions. Jess's recommendations were on point. Every course was excellent, meatballs, mushrooms, the soup of the day, french onion soup, the salad wedges (they divided it up for us as they knew we were sharing), and the Kowalski shared an entree was magnificent. You can easily sit down there and have a supper club type meal, or do as we did, a Tapas night sharing in many different things. We will be coming back, and it's worth every penny if you are concerned about price. They back up that price with quality meats, service, and ambience.

Loved the shrimp and grits even though the breading on the shrimp was a little too salty.
