Everything was wonderful. With the view of the lake, and the tasty cocktails and great food, it can't be beat.

Beautiful Inn. Professional welcoming staff! The bar is darling and the drinks are handcrafted and delicious. Dinner was excellent! Very professional service, very welcoming and knowledgeable. The duck was amazing! Chicken thigh also very different and delicious. This is a place that you always will feel like a very special guest. We will continue to visit this restaurant whenever we are in the area beautiful ambience.

First the positive. The service was outstanding. The place was hopping at 5 pm on a Saturday evening, so it's obviously very popular. The thai noodles were delicious and the french fries are excellent. The incredible salsa is incredibly garlicky. More jalapeno, less garlic would be my personal tastes, but I didn't mind it. However, my 2 dining partners definitely didn't love it. The fish and chips are a bit different. The fish looks like chicken tenders. The breading is good, but there was one that was inedible, tough and chewy, a little weird. And my Korean Chicken sandwich was a hot mess. The breading was burnt, not enough slaw or sauce. Should have been messy, did not taste a hint of cilantro or apple. All in all, I drove 45 minutes to try the place and if I stop again, it'll be because I'm passing through. There are more things on the menu I would like to try. But I won't get my husband back there. Again, the service was excellent and I enjoyed the vibe. The bar was full, so it's obvioulsy a popular choice for the Middlebury crowd.

Beautiful plates. Excellent flavor ! Short ribs were so tender and delicious! Calamari had quite a kick with the jalapenos! Fig flatbread was melt-in-your mouth delicious! Desserts was rich ! The setting was beautiful! Service was excellent. Server was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions! We had a wonderful evening and we’ll be back to try out The Tavern! Compliments to your wonderful Chef!

The food was great, our server was attentive and never wrote a thing down… she remembered our entire order. The ambiance was good… it was a very nice night.
