Had a delightful lunch - food was delicious and our server, Michele, was the best-very accommodating. The Parmesan truffle oil fries are next level-delish!

The experience and service from the hostess to the doorman on our departure was impeccable. Karla was professional but super friendly. ***** for her!!! Value for what you received could have been better. Overall the food experience was fun and unique. Lobster Toast starter was amazing. Only neg would be what we thought would be the best, steak was just “ok”. This is only a preference thing but I would have loved more of the sunchoke puree over the ginger carrot emulsion. It was a one and done in our book but still a lovely experience.

Always a favorite for Sunday lunch! We are regulars here. Lucky to have the restaurant (and Otesaga hotel) as part of this community.

Not expecting such amazing cocktails and good food in Utica - really nice experience.

We really enjoyed our meals at Canal Side Inn. The food was excellent! Could not have been better. From interesting and fresh soup and salad choices, to well prepared and presented main courses and desserts, everything was great. The atmosphere is like taking a step back in time, with wood paneling and even a full phone booth outside the bar area. The music, tunes I remembered hearing at my grandparent's house, complemented the environment nicely. Tables were beautifully set and the service pleasant and attentive. The only thing that was a slight negative, and due to the age and location of the space, was a musty smell initially upon entering. A little bit like a grandparent's house, too! :) In no way did that impact the overall experience for us, and we will definitely be back.
