My husband and I experienced Remington Steak House to celebrate my Cinco de Mayo birthday (we went tonight since they aren't open Mondays). It was fabulous! Similar to other high end steak houses, everything is ala carte and pricey, but totally worth it! The service was impeccable and our steaks were done perfectly. The side dishes, fried mushrooms and onions served with horseradish cream sauce and butternut squash risotto, were plentiful and delish. We ate only half our meals to save room for dessert. I ordered mascarpone creme brulé, while Jeff got bourbon pecan cheesecake, both with fresh whipped cream and berries on the side. Because it was my birthday, our server brought out vanilla ice cream in a chocolate shell with whipped cream and berries and a candle GRATIS! We ended up taking home our desserts because we were stuffed by this point (I did taste the creme brulé and it's amazing!). If you're looking for a place for a special occasion dinner, this is it!

Excellent service and food was delicious. Very nice place, ambiance was great. Lindsay was out server and she was wonderful. Very helpful in her suggestions and knowledgeable about the entire menu. Have been to both restaurants in Ocala and Gainesville and they are both excellent and worth it.

Our food was excellent . Seared foie gras and escargot for starters, halibut and muscle stuffed with risotto, rack of lamb( cooked to perfection ) and braised short ribs in a chilli sance. Kelly our server was very professional . Thank you for making my wife's birthday special .
