There’s a mysterious, secretive feel to this restaurant tucked away inside a historic house, which sits surrounded by amber jewellers in the heart of the Old Town. The name of our restaurant, Mercato, signifies the trade route of Pomerania – via Mercatorum, which historically connected Gdańsk with Southern Poland. Our menu combines local and seasonal products with culinary trends from around the world, using the latest techniques. We had a delicious dinner with excellent service. I had noodles with duck which was best I’ve ever had. Spouse had shrimp and veggies which was good but not as good as mine but possibly healthier. Highly recommend this restaurant

Cozy yet sophisticated place in Old Town near the St Mary’s Basilica. Wonderful, friendly service. Inventive chef highlighting seasonal ingredients. We had ceviche with a strawberry sauce that I thought might be weird but worked, beef tartare, the fish dish and venison - all excellent. Highly recommend.
