We do not accept orders for Afternoon Tea without prior notice. Dogs are welcome, so much so we now have a dog menu! (though we regret they cannot accompany their humans on tours). We serve the best Scottish food, wine, craft beers, ciders and of course our own Single Cask Single Malt Whisky made here on-site. Please as staff for details.     Had the most lovely meal, the food was delicious and served by the most pleasant staff. Would go as far as to say this was the best meal of our stay in the Lakes . Will definitely go back if we’re ever in the area.

    We love the food AND the ambience! Dan is an excellent Chef and Sarah is such fun Front of House too - all good in this lovely village Pub with Gourmet standard food. The Staff are young and still learning, but all of them are polite and keen to learn - it can only get better.

    Absolutely delicious meal served by polite and friendly staff. We were celebrating my birthday whilst on holiday. The menu choice was varied and I chose the special Sea bass which was beautifully cooked and presented. Hubby had the beef teriyaki tacos which were delicious. Also eaten were onion bhaji and mozzarella sticks. Pudding was lemon posset. The staff sung happy birthday and gave me a lovely little ice cream pudding. Could not fault any part of this meal and I would highly recommend eating here and will absolutely return.
