For the last 18 years, Joe Hennes and his wife Ellen have been building a family-oriented meeting place for friends to gather at Sloppy Joe's Saloon and Spoon in Hubertus.     We had reservations at 8. Did not realize that the kitchen closes at 8:30 on weekdays. Ordered ratatouille which was supposed to be on rice however it was served on pasta which was so salty that we could not eat it. The truffle fries were great and so was the wine. Would definitely make reservations earlier.

    We had cocktails in the bar before dinner. It was a beautiful night and was hoping to sit on the patio overlooking the lake but it was not open. So that was a bummer. Had an issue with our glasses of wine at the start. But it was quickly resolved. The food was fantastic and it was a lovely meal. The ambiance and decor are stunning.

    Another wonderful experience at CHW! Faith our waitstaff was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Front desk accommodated our request for a quite table. The wine and food were exceptional. We were dining for lunch and really appreciated the "Seasonal Value" specials that were a bit smaller portions but we still had take home bags! I hope this is something CHW will continue in the future. Thank you!
