Côte Brasserie in Exeter always surpasses my expectations. The service is consistently excellent, and the waiting staff are highly professional and attentive. Today, however, there was a very unpleasant incident involving an extremely unruly group of diners. They were shockingly aggressive towards the staff — behaviour that was not only unnecessary but deeply embarrassing for both the staff and fellow diners. Their rudeness was entirely unprovoked, and it reached a point where other guests began to voice that the group should be asked to leave. In the midst of this, I want to especially commend Julita. Her calmness, grace, and professionalism in handling such a difficult situation were truly admirable. She is a real credit to Côte Brasserie and an asset to the team. It’s a real shame that staff have to endure behaviour like that from ignorant and disrespectful individuals. I hope they are never allowed to return.

Great place, food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely, would highly recommend.

We ate on ground floor at wicker chairs Sara served us quickly and was very friendly We had fish pie and chicken burger which were both delicious Wine was fab too

We ate wonderful food outside on a beautiful afternoon. What could be nicer? Everything was superb from The Devon red cider to the catch of the day sole in a generous caper salsa. Half an hours walk if you park by Starcross church.

A really enjoyable lunch. Good food and good service. All you can ask for from your local.
