Restaurants near Exchange Building

Went here on 2/8/25 for a 5 year anniversary. Was an absolutely amazing experience and the service was impeccable. I don’t recall our server’s name, but he was stellar. We were brought a complimentary glass of champagne as well as a crème brûlée. Thanks for an amazing time! We will be back as soon as we can.

My wife and I have dined at McEwen's several times and we keep driving in from Germantown again and again. Our first reason to keep returning is that we support locally owned restaurants opposed to chain restaurants. Secondly we return due to the food and service. The steak is full of flavor and costs less than many of our east Memphis restaurants charge. The food almost rapidly appears and the wait staff is very attentive. Then there is a higher level of service. My steak Friday night was slightly under cooked and all I asked was to cook it a little bit more. They did that and they compensated me the price of the steak! They did this because I had to wait a bit for my food. I didn't complain nor ask for anything special. They just did it. But wait, there's more! My wife innocently made a suggestion regarding her entree and they compensated her meal as well. Did they do this because we are regulars? We were not upset or demanding or even asking. They just did it. In summery, they offer greater value for greater taste at higher levels of service plus they have valet parking right at their doors. We plan to return.

Coco was our waitress and she was outstanding! She was so nice and attentive. The food was amazing.

The Flight experience never disappoints. I highly recommend seating in the cellar for a more formal atmosphere.

Always a great place to enjoy. The atmosphere, the hosts, the cooks, the manager and the attentive waiters especially Michael. We always leave happy and very full of fantastic food.
