The food is sensational. Not a massive menu but plenty of options. Service was really good & extremely attentive albeit a little on the slow side. That was fine for us. We were an early arrival and the place was quite empty and a little on the cool side. It soon warmed up as the place filled up! Noise levels were pretty high so that might put a few off. I had the best meal of the table which was a crispy squid ink risotto with prawns. My friends definitely enjoyed their pasta and lasagna but they had a little food envy. My prawns were melt in the mouth and the risotto one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Wine list was extensive and fairly priced. The food similarly was well priced. Wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Finally got to try the roast today and was not disappointed! It was an exceptional meal and outstanding value for money at $25. The food and ambiance at the Three Crowns is always spot on but I have to give a shout out to the staff who work their butts off but are always cheerful and make you feel at home.

Food has incredibly well balanced flavours. Coconut, lemon grass, fish, peanut, chilli. Nothing over powering. Texture of spring rolls was crispy and fine without the grease. Mains chicken beautiful seasoning & tender. Had the house Reisling which cut through the chilli and enhanced its flavours. Roti bread so light. Desert clearly made in house also high end. Coconut ice cream superb & sticky rice a surprise. Cost of dinner very competitive. 4 - 4.5 stars definitely going back. Short walk from southern Cross station.

Only second time visiting, but burgers were as good as the first time. So good
