Restaurants near Estacion Mazapa

The place is beautiful and the food very good. I asked for a table in the terrace in my reservation. There were a lot of empty tables at the terrace and even we kindly asked them, they rejected our petition. It’s a pity because I decided to celebrate my 50th Birthday there…definitely not the experience I was looking forward to.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Balcón del Zócalo. I originally booked an 8 PM reservation through OpenTable but arrived early, and the staff kindly accommodated us. The restaurant is very elegant—perfect for a date—with a covered balcony that overlooks the beautifully lit Zócalo. The balcony was closed due to rain the night we visited, but I was impressed to learn they can open the roof and walls for nice weather. The four-course menu was a bit confusing at first since you choose each course individually, but overall, the service, view, and atmosphere made it a memorable evening.
