Friendly, welcoming staff. Lovely ambience, pleasant waterfront property Our server, Dan B was outstanding. Food was delicious, but a bit pricey.

I would recommend this place for the atmosphere and location. My steak was overcooked though.

As an early Mother’s Day gift, we took family to The Weathervane. We were seated at a nice table with a view of the channel and the fireplace. The food was as excellent as the view. However, our server brought one member of our party the wrong drink, and he did not correct his mistake for quite some time. We had to flag him down. He had to replace a dirty bread plate too. The biggest issue was that our sever and the host spent a lot of time chatting with a couple who seemed to have recently moved to the area. The restaurant was not busy. In fact, diners were only seated at a few tables. Yet, our table was neglected. Our server was nice and funny when he visited our table. Yet, his lackluster overall service was disappointing.
