Fantastic experience, splendid service and wonderful food!

Our Waitress was perhaps the most upbeat service person I have encountered here. Very pleasant and seemed to enjoy her tasks very much.

Have been asking friends where they would recommend we celebrate our anniversary and Ashten's was suggested. We have been here just over 5 years and have been mostly disappointed with the restaurant offerings here, but it probably isn't fair to compare here to where we would celebrate special occasions when we were living in California - Napa, Sonoma and the Bay area. This place did not disappoint. We kept it simple. I had the Pork chop, excellent! Perfectly done, moist, jucy and flavorful. My wife had the Trout and had the same experience. Tried the pecan pie with homemade ice cream for dessert which was also very good. We sat in the main dinning room which was quiet but next time I we'll take the pub area which look a little more relaxed and fun. The only thing that came as a bit of a surprise was the price of our after dinner drinks which were $10 higher each than what was shown in the online (guess I should have asked). Still a very very enjoyable evening and a definite place to return to and to recommend.

Our waiter, Van, did an amazing job! We were celebrating an anniversary and a birthday with our best friends and the evening could not have been better!

Villagio is one of our favorite restaurants in the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area. We have dined there on many occasions and have never been disappointed. I love the Northern Italian cooking, especially the fresh pasta and polenta. Each person in our group had something different and each entree was fantastic.....One person had Carbonara, one person had the Ribeye, one person had Lamb, and one had Ravioli. Also, I have to mention the grilled calamari we had as an appetizer, because it was spectacular, and not often found in restaurants around our area. Our server was wonderful and attended to our table well but not to where she was hovering. The wine list was also very nice. Thank you, Villagio, for making a wonderful evening for our family!
