True Chesapeake is a fine dining restaurant born of an oyster farm. Executive Chef Zack Mills creates a seasonal menu that showcases oysters from our far St. Jerome’s Creek, Southern Maryland — raw, roasted, and in signature dishes like Classic Rockefeller and Semolina Fried Oysters. But, the oysters are just the beginning. Our award winning menu celebrates the bounty of the Chesapeake region by using locally sourced seafood, meat, and produce to create exquisite dishes that evolve with the seasons. Chef Mills has been featured extensively for his use of invasive seafood species, a very delicious way to help the Chesapeake Bay. Don't forget to order the Blue Crab and Bone Marrow dip or handmade pasta. We have an expertly curated wine list, beer selection, and cocktails - both classic and creative. Ample bar, high-top, and terrace seating available for walk-ins on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Went for my boyfriend’s birthday. They gave him a birthday card upon arriving which was very nice. The restaurant is loud , maybe because we weren’t far from the bar area but music was pretty loud, also more pop music instead of calming and low key, but not terrible. Bread that they give you has a butter/garlic mixture on top. Bread was excellent, butter was too salty and garlicky for our taste. I ordered tomahawk ribeye which was amazing, bf got filet which was also amazing. Loaded baked potato was delicious and huge. We did order roasted mushrooms which once again had too much garlic in them. They did take them off the bill when we mentioned we didn’t care for them which was great customer service. Dessert menu wasn’t impressive, but we got the butter cake with ice cream which was delicious. For my bf’s birthday, they gave us each a glass off champagne. Service was impeccable and Dahlia, our server, was fantastic! Had a wonderful night!

This restaurant lives up to the hype! It was a perfect evening with great weather, ambiance, customer service, and food! The wine selection was one of the best I've seen in a long time! The twist of the calamari was divine; it was flash-fried but perfectly prepared and presented! Our Pasta dishes were worth every carb (I happily went to the gym this morning)! Most importantly, the customer service will have us visit again!

My best friend and I were lucky to enjoy dinner with lovely fall weather on the second floor balcony overlooking the property and the bay. The service from Chadd was perfect! He made solid recommendations and we enjoyed our drinks, food and dessert. It is a tad on the pricier side, but the ambience, food quality, and service are worth it.
