La Casita in Waite Park is a traditional Mexican restaurant and cantina. The interior of the restaurant is a fun and relaxing place to dine, with decorations from Mexico lining the walls. When the weather is nice, there is no better seat in the house than out on the front patio under one of La Casita's covered tables. La Casita's menu features plenty of classic Mexican dishes, as well as some contemporary options. Under the appetizer menu, diners can get a quesadilla made with jack cheese, pico de gallo and chicken or steak, as well as Mexican-style flatbread pizza. Dinner options include favorites like burritos, chimichangas, tacos, chalupas, flautas and enchiladas. One of the specialties of the house is the Cancun, a flour tortilla stuffed with a seafood mixture and bay shrimp, all topped with a house sauce and melted cheese.
